    @allahpundit This isnt remotely on the scale of New Coke. Frankly, it's not even the worst business disaster at this company--the AOL merger is the worst merger in history.

    @LoveRetroBTW Never winter nights on AOL. I played something else on prodigy but I don't think it was an MMO and I'm not counting any of the BBS MUDS. Those were more like solo games with some player interactions. 1/2 MMO.

    Will we look bad at Tesla’s earning manipulation and the coming frenzy over buying Twitter as the top? Kind of the crazy mentality that caused Times Warner to buy AOL back in the day. Talk about a disaster.

    @IanCrossland It was cooler back in the AOL message board and IRC days tho there was something magical about that Phreaking, Running Warez groups and having Elite hackers named LarsCow doing your ***** work damn those days were fun

    When I was an AOL tech, it took me 5 cheek-biting minutes to get a customer to tell me their screen name so I could look up their account - we had a CallID system and I could see all along it was "mad4cox".
