Well shut my mouth! I went back into the drives today and found copies of a 2002 blog I'd done on aol that was later shut down. Thought I'd lost it forever! It's from a very pivotal point just before and after my wife Julie's car accident and passing. Glad I checked!

Hey @Verizon my internet has been down for over a half an hour! I’ve dealt with terrible customer service, never get the upload and download speeds I pay for, and get treated like an idiot who’s never touched a computer when I call! At this point I’d rather switch to AOL!

I’m remembering the AOL days, when I was forced to make an AOL kids and when AOL called my mother after I called someone a bad name after getting harassed at the age of 13 and then locked my account. They turned off our internet service and they told my mom what I was doing.

@BurgerKing Can we get some real upgrades to the mobile app this year? Trying to order is tragic... waiting on app to accept a click is like waiting on AOL to connect in the 90's... GAH....Garbage...

@fodderyfodder I found this tweet on AOL. And the law sucks. I hope these laws do not spill over too much and does not inspire to many similar laws elsewhere. The government really should not be limiting the content people access. Hell when I was a teen I even helped a friend make a porn site.

@AnnieSage I take a lot of flak for keeping my 28-yo AOL address. I shrug and say I have a lot of very old friends who might lose track of me otherwise. Two more important reasons: 1. I get a kick out of being underestimated. 2. Their spam filters are really good. I *never* get that ****.
