@JayWamsted I was 10 when the internet started growing, and email/instant messaging was born on dial up through AOL. It took a minute or two, but by typing the right words I could see all the naked pictures I wanted. At ten years old I made the decision never to procreate. I still thank God.

@fbdaury We were using local dialup BBS servers before the internet was available in early 1993. My 386 with its modem let me play games and chat with locals. Then AOL gave us the internet. Hot Damn, we were on the net!

First, NOBODY said the internet was going to fail, everyone expected it to be HUGE remember how FAST AOL blew up, dotcom bubble, yeah okay that happened because "everyone" was afraid of the internet lol. More technologies FAIL than succeed. It's EASY to pick the ones that will
