    @JungKrystal AOL is just the company name like hotmail, gmail etc. AOL messenger was the original (for me) instant messaging service in the US anyway

    @peregrinekate I never had an aol account but a boss of mine had one and he set me up with an email address under his account. I hardly used it, but the rule for these kind of purity tests is "all technicalities count," so there you are.

    @IndieBookshopUK Never had a MySpace (didn't understand it!) or AOL (I had talk21 instead), but definitely have used everything else. I still have the paper A-Z I bought in 2008 when I moved to London for 6 months. My cousin takes the proverbial out of me for it, but it hasn't failed me yet!
