@USAA I'm envisioning USAA's automation team being some kid sitting in his parent's basement using dial up AOL? Once again...their site is down!!!

@mmpadellan Could be worse. Mine gave me 40 free hours of AOL dial up service. It's less than ideal. But also no covid.

@Cokedupoptions @itsfuture69 AOL is the premier service for all my spam email accounts for its interoperability between various interlinked spam accounts. Now that’s knowing your customer.

Do Verizon and AOL realize the continuous fraud being perpetuated in their names via daily multiple emails threatening to disconnect service if you don't click on a designated link? Most are grammatically challenged, but they just keep on coming. Just got another one. Eff you.

@TwitterSupport I am trying to log on to my account on my PC. The e mail I use is my Gmail account & it was changed to my AOL email. I get as far as my password & after 4 attempted logins it tells me to use my username and I'm typing in my username and it's not working

@4uckYuu @QOrigins @travis_view As someone who was extremely online from 1995 onwards, the mix of naively accepting versus skeptical has not really changed. The summer that never ended, when Aol linked to the internet, was a blizzard of people. There was a concept of ‘digital native’ that hasn’t surfaced.

@InvestingPlug I don't see that, at least now. AOL's issue was afaik a lack of innovation and progress, which is something you really can't say about Tesla.

@jride2fast @SergioVengeance Yes, As the court said in the first section 230 case ‘Thus, lawsuits seeking to hold a service provider liable for its exercise of a publisher's traditional editorial functions--such as deciding whether to publish, withdraw, postpone or alter content--are barred’ - Zaren v aol.
