  @matthewdmarsden So you are willing to sacrifice all the kids with bad parents? Sounds pretty messed up to me and certainly not very Christian! I applaud you, I tried to do it and my wife divorced me and then the daughter was ***** after meeting a guy from AOL IRL. But I was the bad guy.

  @BrianEntin Happy to have you in Loudoun. We were also told these awful buildings would only be up for ten years. The reason the built them here was bc of the original AOL infrastructure which never made any sense to me and is now clearly a lie. They have RUINED our beautiful county.

  @muheediva01 I couldn't afford AOL but I was 20 years old, stupid, living in the ATL and was up to no good on a daily basis. Not sure how I even survived 95.

  Jaafar would do stuff like get on AOL and chat with strangers/fans lol all of them did. and he'd get in trouble. that's what I meant by bad. they all had foamspring accounts too

Nearly 19,300 firm-period observations. Fastest ever: AOL at 103% CAGR, and even that was a merger artifact with Time Warner. OpenAI's projection: $13.1bn (2025) → $284bn (2030). An 85% CAGR from a base no company that size has ever compounded from. The earlier $184bn-by-2029 forecast implied 118%. The mean 5-year nominal CAGR in the data: 6.9%, with 11.1% standard deviation. OpenAI's forecast sits 9 to 10 standard deviations out. Mauboussin's caveat is fair, base rates are dynamic and the past doesn't make it impossible.   @FCJaymes All I had was AOL IM and very limited texts even in high school, and none of that before haha. Social media is horrible for the mind of a kid. I can't imagine growing up with it. It would have been an entirely different experience, and I doubt in a good way
