@ykoi17921727 @BitcoinIsSaving @tracyalloway Pretty sure your metaphor for blockchain is wrong. AOL was a web service built on top of the protocol.

  • Harrisoar3 Donnie Dumpo (@Harrisoar3) reported

@tracyalloway @KrystianLaskow1 If bitcoin was taken over it would be a complete **** fest. No one would trust crypto. Comparing aol to btc is apples and oranges. Will not happen

@KaylaChowShow Driving across the state to multiple record stores looking for import albums. Searching magazines for the best BMG or AOL trial, then forgetting to cancel. Calling Information. Using a road atlas when driving out of state. Long distance charges. Setting the VCR when you're out.

@AOLSupportHelp I need every update on this I have followed the steps from the article to terminate my account completely.

Apparently AOL does not want me sending e-mail this morning. 3 attempts to multikple addresses have failed with: There was a problem saving the message. Please try again later. (EC-4008). Of course AOL will blame some other outfit for the problem. Anyone else having issues?

  • JamesPeaty1575 James Peaty (@JamesPeaty1575) reported

So looks like that AT&T/Warner’s will go down as one of the worst business decisions since...the AOL/Time Warner deal.

  • zax2000 Mike Shaw Is Staying 6' Away From You Ⓥ (@zax2000) reported

Hey, @thepressboxpod: Worth an emergency pod? If so, here's my Q... First AOL, now AT&T. Why would anyone want to merge w/WarnerMedia ever again? It's always a historically bad outcome. Also: Might WarnerMedia be cursed? #HarryPotterAndTheCursedMediaConglomerate

  • hazmardy Hazmardy (@hazmardy) reported

WarnerMedia should've never merged with AT&T in the 1st place! I mean, have they ever learned their lesson with AOL 20 years ago? #WarnerMedia #HBOMax #ATT

  • Chip192203 Steve Connolly (@Chip192203) reported

....and yet again AOL quality stands strong....yeah right: There was a problem saving the message. Please try again later. (EC-4008). Can only hope sale away from Verizon improves service.

@tracyalloway @WayneVaughan Nah the fact that bitcoin comes back again and again tells you that its not AOL. AOL failed and never came back. It relied on a lot of other internet companies who did one time ad buys. If anything is like AOL, it’s probably Coinbase.
