@bluenamicomin That’s terrible. I remember the old AOL dialup from the late 1990s. Definitely time for you to have an upgrade.

  • Paulo3times Paulo (@Paulo3times) reported

@MrMichaelSpicer Culture sec said internet was 10 years old. No wonder AOL disappeared, they were selling internet service before it was even invented. Pretty stupid thing to do.

  • FreeTown30 Black Man - Say Her name (@FreeTown30) reported

@haulyuhass__ AOL was much heavily marketed down here than it was in Canada

@slick2099 @trig_abg @Lingerer760 What happened to WCW in the 90's when Time Warner and AOL merged? It killed WCW. Discovery already told AEW they were NOT Allowed to sign the Briscoe's, they flipped **** when Hangman put the Thorne crown on Cole on good Friday. You clearly don't understand business and are (2)

GOD kids are lucky nowadays because I wish I could play multiplayer games like Apex, Valorant or Fortnite as a kid online. I had trash *** AOL dial-up for YEARS and I could never play any games online and games weren’t really completely online for awhile tbh

  • HandsomeRandall TheHandsomeRandall (@HandsomeRandall) reported

@Marcbuffbagwell @LashCanDraw So glad AOL never merged with WebMD. "You've Got mail" was annoying enough. Imagine typing in your symptoms, and get the announcement "You've got Herpes."

  • rich_halvey Rich Halvey (@rich_halvey) reported

@RayLorettoJr Sad story. I was an early adopter of AOL. They offered $10,000 in shares before the IPO. I asked professional investors. They all said bad idea. So I passed. When AOL merged with Time-Warner, that $10K would have been worth $3 million. Big wins come when you see what others don't

@ElectJayCBlock When AOL had a call center in Albuquerque, they had policies, like any other social network. It’s their network. You don’t HAVE to use it. But if you want to use theirs, then you can’t harass or be hateful to others. Microsoft was founded here 1/2 Xbox has the same policies.
