Anyone tell me what happened to a casual meet up. Back in the AOL days, you could just meet up and have fun. There was no OF, hook-ups or pay me first ****...Meet up and have fun. Wonder if this will ever happen again. They say that 90's are making a come back.

@RosannaWright I don’t know what on earth is going on here lately! I open Twitter and it’s like a really bad soap opera plot! It’s seriously like the days on AOL chat rooms - but at least that was 20 years ago and made more sense given our ages back then!

@engineers_feed Complaints to AOL went unheeded even as Steve Case mouthed platitudes about how 'open' he was to users. It was about then that I discovered you could actually use the WWW without AOL. Signed up with a local ISP and never looked back. 2/2

Has @AOL been cyberattacked? I have had password problems (ipad v laptop), and when I am sent a verification code my phone which has just received it is unrecognised as is my alternative gmail address (active) which is described as "unsupported". @AOL, contact me and sort this!
