    @foreman_william @erinhale that was the problem. i was exec ed of Asiaweek when AOL shut it down in Dec 2001 and the underlying cause was an almost total reliance on advertising revenue which had collapsed after 9/11 By the way, AOL (Time Warner) refused to sell rights to the name

    @RashminPulekar Either one will close down or at least raid AOL on the very first day. Why do we wish something as bad on anyone? If it happens, it is bad. But to wish for it...

    Sitting here thinking ... there’s still a few thousand people using AOL dial up internet service. Dial up internet. Like... you have to have a landline. Whose grandmother is this?

    @AOLSupportHelp Hello, I'm having a problem with my AOL account on Gmail, both ios app and in Windows where I receive emails but I can't send them. I tried deleting my AOL account from Gmail and re-add it but AOL keeps rejecting the user name and password - too many attempts
