@ttfn0104 @SenatorLankford These guys need new SMM guys. I would assume it's some aid that has no idea 4 chan or other sites are even online. To most of these people Twitter/Facebook/Youtube IS the INTERNET. Reminds me of when AOL was a service...

@Silcris88 @jetset_ I fear you are very much correct. This reminds me of the time I made an AOL joke in a Community update to players and one of the replies was "sorry, but wtf is AOL"? I never made another ISP joke ever again during that gig.

If there's one thing I want people to know about me, it's that when I was a wee lass, AOL wouldn't let me sign in and I went two days without feeding my Neopet, which resulted in me having an absolute meltdown.

@EmilyDreyfuss It's the closed Internet part, like Facebook. I saw this happen on AOL (the original closed Internet) which is one of the many reasons people left the platform. Add in the terrible decisions by Google, Facebook & Twitter to overvalue & poorly execute the algorithms over humans.

@DrBourbonstein I’m still using—though I only look at it like every four months—the same AOL account I’ve had since (I think) 1999... (backed up by the Gmail account I started in 2004/05 & basically never used & literally didn’t look at for over a decade)(Internet is cool)
