But there's very few parties anymore and I'll go months between IRL friend hang outs. I text with people daily but yeah. I think I cling to social media because it's really all I have these days. I mostly just hang out in twitch chat rooms for that old school vibe of AOL chatting

@PR1NC3EZZY Lmaooo true but I have to say, social media as we see it today, you’re right. But there was definitely social media back then it was just on internet pages, aol chat rooms, msn chat rooms lmao this **** was all over MySpace. Yahoo news used to hold it down too.

@RetroActive80s I am so sorry you had to see that at least we are funny about it. I don’t get upset. I had AOL dial up chat rooms to toughen me up. I am an OG troll. Im here for it. But damn over a game? *cackles* wow touch some grass & vagina

@naga_squeezie I was gonna say, "I wonder what derpy sound she's making", but I immediately thought of the AOL dialup sound, so I shut that down ._.

@brendonwalsh I don't know what your watching, but clicked on game shows (intellectual) and nothing happened in 2 seconds. Reminds me of aol, got no time for that bull ****, down to my last 1500 days if I am lucky:)

@NeverThatRobin Naw. It will go down as the worst purchase ever. Make AOL look like a sweet deal.

  • LCvonHessen LC von Hessen 💀 (@LCvonHessen) reported

@datalore66 Completely random but I'm reminded that my terrible emotionally abusive metalhead first boyfriend's AOL screen name when we met was "Exumed666" or something like that and I was embarrassed for him that he left out the H

@Melt_Dem maybe you are talking about that. I was alive at the time. The CDs that AOL sent out were a dilutive slow rug. first 60 minutes free, then 90, then a million.

@BowTiedOx This year I’ve used the TreasuryDirect site probably 50 times working with clients because of I bond rates and every time I feel like I’ve been teleported back to my childhood in the 90s. They *just* updated the landing page but everything past login is AOL-era.
