  @Walmart is the walmart moto "we can screw up a wetdream? "As usual I ordered from you snd items were missing . U promised me a promo.code that never showed up in my aol. Com account. I have wasted 3 days jacking with your foriegn customer service still no code.

  @Konviction_ *rephrase Sign up for AOL, get a pack of blank CDs. Walk into parking lot, call AOL to cancel. They hated me.

  I consider the Postal Service’s biggest failure in the early Internet era was not giving an email address to everyone. Instead, they delivered AOL CDs to people who set up an email with them. Imagine if everybody had @usps.com email address. They would have made a fortune.

  @BrandonTheHeel the AOL kids used to get bullied so bad back in the day easiest to bluescreen easiest to netbus always getting trolled (hold down Alt and press F4 for free stuff!!) but AIM was way better than MSN and ICQ. Ya got us there...

  @someguyonx97 @AskYoshik Internet growth was overhyped I never witnessed it's abilities and cost/value overhyped though like AI. People could readily afford internet access and 5th graders could use it to its potential via AOL or Netscape. Not so much for AI We agree the bubble pop is going to be big
