@LicciardoMark @RosesOnThaMoon @TheMoonCarl That is what blackberry said. Let's not forget aol's dominance starting the online revolution. ATARI started the video game revolution, IBM dominated computers, Kodak film, Xerox, Sears, Woolworth, the Walkman, VHS, Blockbuster. Pretty stupid comment, IMO.

PSA: If you're reviewing grants on the Zoom Grants platform? It's useful to not bother sleeping and login while others slumber. Slower than AOL circa 1995, or whenever that was.

@taco_x86 will probably have to catch folks at a con for talks over drinks for the best of it, but some folks that got in trouble and already served for the trouble have given some interviews about things they did (some was more AOL backend hacking than AIM)

@Come_On_Ground @jenniferlee_75 Lol. Cannot tell you how many times millennials who think they’re sparring with me on a topic, point to that and say: AOL? No one reads AOL. That’s just dumb. And I’m like: wow, you’re truly stupid.

@sweenz104 AOL was terrible in the late 1990s. THey actually long ago fixed many of their problems, so they're really no worse than any other service, but they still have that reputation hanging over them.
