Believe it or don't, Starship Troopers: Battlespace on AOL 3.0 rocked. They had like 8 classes per side. It was a badass top-down shooter and I am bewildered that it isn't a thing in 2020 @mythic

@jon_bois Decades ago as a tech support person I had to teach people how to type this over the phone to try to get their modems to connect to AOL. Some of them couldn't do it. True Story.

@JUSTONEPOST2 I had a pc when we had dial modems and AOL. There was Yahoo, AOL chat rooms where people believed whatever they saw and read. There will always be dumb and naive people who believe the **** on FB. Age has nothing to do w it.

@volunt4ryvoice @sheseemslegit I was about to ask the same thing. Maybe it's a generation thing, but "back in my day" the AIM/AOL Messenger hookups never happened. It was all in person. God, I sound old.

"tesla will become the new aol in six months" my prediction is that this guy gets fired first.....hehe tesla will have 30 billion in revenue in 2020 with a market cap of over 650 billion......aol never exceeded 10 billion in its hayday....aol was into dial up internet....hehe
