    2. Constantly whining about Facebook and Twitter suspending accounts is equally annoying. It reminds me of the idiots on AOL that thought that piece of crap was the entire internet. Where is AOL now? The same place Twitter and Facebook will be eventually. #getalife

@JohnCornyn @RonDavidH It's a pretty high bar - a shopping mall isn't, for instance. And it has only been addressed tangentially in federal court so far, and they decided that it wasn't on the issue of AOL offering email spam filters. But it's a much different internet in ~25 years, needs revisited

@DirkHooper I'm clueless about dating sites. I've never used them. Unless you count AOL chatrooms and AFF back in the day.

@NotesMargin @ThatEricAlper Hahaha... no, but I remember AOL, and some web TV thing that was AWFUL! These were just Internet chat rooms.

@clhubes The time between AOL and Facebook was an interesting time. And it got even worst.

@tyler @ThinkingCrypto1 $BTC & $ETH are like AOL. They have first mover advantage but it’s limited, slow and costly.

@UCLA_Law @VolokhC @nytimes As I was saying on Compuserve the other day about my reasons for switching to AOL, the overwhelming media dominance of Time Inc guarantees that I will never need to subscribe to another service in order to express my opinions.
