@phil_geiger Correct thing to think about is Bitcoin vs other more efficient coins. It's being replaced. That causes entire valuation of crypto to go down as noobs realize risk fo AOL/myspacization is real. Buy price will be lower.

@MattWalshBlog My tech class in 7th grade had some network where we could chat with other schools in the county. Bad idea. But 1st intro to WWW was AOL messenger at a friend’s house. Another bad idea.

@BobQuarantine @MattWalshBlog I was hipper than you guys. I never had a centralized network provider. No Compuserve, no AOL, just raw internet from a dial up provider. First exposure, and I didn't know I was doing it, was a dialup to my sister's college to run lynx. Didn't know I was even on the net lol

@MattWalshBlog I remember getting the internet and using internet explorer. My grandma also had AOL and it was extremely slow. The internet was a weird thing back then. I also remember you cooking talk on the phone or be on the web at the same time. Simpler times.

@SteelNicho I had 2 phone lines 1 fax line and 1 line for AOL for email at my office a very long time ago. I was tasked with figuring out how to give our 4 employees their own email addresses, so I learned how to set up a network. I think we used netscape back then, haha. Humble beginnings.

Here’s an idea. Bitcoin dominance has been in a macro downtrend since inception. The trend is down. People don’t use AOL or Myspace, or flip phones anymore as much as they did. Technology is always moving forward. I see bitcoin this same way to be honest.
