@DougKass I know many top people at Time Warner who lost their retirement money because of Levin’s awful merger. At the time of merger AOL had 24 million paid dial up subs all of whom would soon to evaporate once cable modems came in. Case hoodwinked Levin.

@birbigs True! Back in the day after months of trying to get rid of AOL, including *not* agreeing to be called a senior citizen so I could continue as a customer but get it for free, I told the CSR that I would have to forget about likening them to a bad penny in favor of herpes.

.@AOL is quite literally the worst email provider. Who forces you to PAY for their email services and tech support??? Absolutely ridiculous. Never had these issues with Yahoo or Gmail.

@SteveHofstetter That's the most brutal punishment I could think of having actually worked tech support for AOL's dialup service. That sound is still stuck in my head all these years later...
