Crypto is the biggest scam of my lifetime. So fkn glad I never got into that bullshit. Literally every product that derived off bitcoin has been a massive Ponzi scheme. I am just pissed my boss @Cokedupoptions missed that boat trying to get AOL back on top of tech.

@imbadatchoosing I feel like AOL might be the better comparison (dumping millions into a service literally no one wants and getting screwed by it)

@tech2eets Thinking I'm too poor for Twitter. Maybe we can just segregate the poor from the rich with chat rooms like AOL. That way us poor people or dark don't lose our voice.

During the late 80s and 90s, lots of us did pay for a service like Twitter. CompuServe, Prodigy, AOL. I subscribed to the first, and also, locally, ECHO. ECHO was cool. I don't remember anyone declaring, "ECHO should pay me."

@SXodium One is a mere web installer disc (1995 AOL level) & the other is another rushed to sale, "the disc contains a broken version", placeholder that still requires a full game download. No thanks... Will wait for the "disc contains patch" inevitable Game Of The Year version.
