@aolmail A family member has received the most appalling customer service from #aol. Utterly shocking. All she wants to do is reset the password as she’s been locked out & the response was effectively, go away and set up another account. She has replied, but I’m not happy.

When it first arrived — and I made a blog there within the first two months of its public existence — @tumblr was the near perfect blogging platform. Then AOL destroyed it. Now it’s a horrible jail where I can’t get rid of this dumb screen. Thanks @automatic.

Still having intermittent trouble sending/receiving emails on my @AOL account. Updated password on AOL via Safari; it works. Does not work through my normal email channel either sending or receiving. Systems don’t seem to share info - help!

@angsuman Thanks. The block domain option (.ru) feature in AOL has no effect on the spam and they do not have a list like outlook. I will have to study the possible fixes. Haven't been inside reg for a few years or config or coding since 90s DOS, but never too old to learn.

@mikedbrook @AOL If you use OE Classic 4.0, please note that in 4.0.2 (and newer) the issue with AOL mail not logging in was fixed. Therefore, please update to 4.0.3 (current version). For support though please use support form.

@slinganswers So you raise the monthly price by $5 and then disappear with “internal system issues”… all week, cannot get in touch with anyone via phone or chat… now we have to contact you on social media… next you will all have aol email addresses… not the move to build confidence…
