Never forget this man arguing me down on a date, when I worked at Verizon at the time. Verizon who paid billions to acquire AOL, bc AOL had MILLIONS of customers in 2015.

@pc2005 @QuartsClock @Cmonmack1 AOL was an independent service that only gradually transitioned to being connected to the internet. Same with prodigy, Delphi, INN...all were independent dial-up services not initially connected to the infernet.

I have to say @aolmail, I have had bad customer service before but this is the first time an automated helpline has put me in a queue and then somehow sent me back to the initial intake questions
