@0xTycoon @lightclients @econoar Just thinking off the cuff: why not have AOL kind of CDs? And more importantly this problem is going to come sooner or later. Why use that as an excuse to not provide relief to the users?

@Yamiche Thing about all this, its not 1993 with Alan Greenspan and EF Hutton speaking to a populous of Americans barely operating AOL internet. If it was we take this in stride. Fact is this Pandemic has been an enlightenment, say what you want, it doesn't mean I'm so stupid to agree.

Were you really a teenager living in the 90s if you didn't run an AOL email list about celeb gossip, using every color and font and bad gif available?

@trumanboyes I was on the internet before there was a world wide web. Before there were service providers. Before Google, before AOL, before Compuserve... When you had to find a newsgroup feed from a friend/colleague. I got mine from Fermilab, which had defense and educational connections.

@trumanboyes I was an Apple Ambassador by starting MAC Users Group in REDMOND, WA and had access to AppleLink Network in 1986. I could download current Apple Literature to share with Users Group. When Apple stopped AppleLink, Steve Case converted it to AOL.

@JohnKnopfPhotos @Roblox I was a big X-Files fan and my password was Mulder’s password trustno1 and I realized that tons of X-Files fans must have the same one. I wrote down all the accounts that had X-Files in their profile and then I had free AOL forever after that.
