    @MarshaBlackburn America will actually be energy independent with green energy. Why don’t you support American green energy producers? Why the push back against progress? Do you still use dial up AOL? Do you drive with leaded gasoline, use CFCs in your hairspray, spray DDT to kill mosquitos, etc.

    Meta owns 7 of the top 10 SM sites. Twitter is already way down on the list, when it comes to actual total users. This sale will not help their BL. Folks will start asking about Twitter, the way they do about MySpace & AOL. “Folks still use that?”

    Wow, really underestimated how much there was to explain so this made sense to a 12yo now: "When I was 12, I called a church pastor to see if he could help me install an AOL cd from the mail so i could get online. I got in trouble when my brother picked up the phone and heard."

    @Gikarisama @BBCWorld All are in danger of becoming like MySpace, Alta Vista & AOL by over-reaching. There are so many issues with on-line/cloud invasiveness & privacy that (a bit like COVID reintroducing personal space) there could be a movement where specific apps exist detached from the Internet.
