    @RealProductGirl My biggest problem with discord is it feels cutoff from the internet in some ways vs something like X. Like a how AOL wasn’t really the internet back I the day.

    @Cromwelp Common practice by them to push new sales while claiming it’s for security purposes. Funny how they dont ask for any identifying material to prove who you are right? Went down this road with an old aol email being the one needed and it was long gone.

    @anvilpw @LewisWetzel5 @themagaking Almost none. Some porn sites, which I promise you were not supporting the gov. 87 of the first 100 coimmercial sitres online wqerew porn related. AOL was news and entertainment. There was no Google. Yahoo came soon after. That gave us live chat. Also damn near kiled Yahoo, about seven or eight years later.

    RIP Ted Turner. I joined @CNN in 2001 after the AOL-Time Warner merger had already closed. So a lot was already changing. But the culture he created for all the CNN newsrooms (TV and digital) never did. Was an honor to call CNNMoney/CNN Business home for 21+ years.

    Journalists are warning us that we're in a tech bubble - as they share their message across multiple tech platforms - saying right now is akin to the 2001 tech crash in which the biggest tech company was AOL, who needed you to install a physical CD before using their AIM service.

    @PaxAmericana_ @xBubbaMattx And yes that was another issue that was plaguing the company It was a few key factors: money laundering, internal Sabatoge & terrible creative seem to be the culprits If AOL time warner truly cared abour WCW, they'd move them another night & re tool Clear they weren't interested. It was more less an idea to burn the house down & take as much as they can
