@Sarah_Katilyn @Canny4 That horrid AOL dialup noise will haunt me till the day I die. Fun fact...I still use my AOL mail account from the 90s as my main account. Don't @ me.

Saw somebody today whine that it's impossible to give up your childhood favorites if they turn out to be problematic. Specifically referenced Ender's Game as an example. **** that. I loved Ender's Game. My AOL screen name as a kid was Ender. Guess what?

@ZssBecker Damn Alex you can’t be serious!! Eth ain’t it. Tech created by a 15 year old kid in 2015 isn’t going to be “The one.” It’s the AOL of the internet. Super limited, too expensive, not fast enough, etc. This move to POS will just make the validators wealthy.

The only time I was ever bullied was in church. Those good ole, Baptist church girls. Every Wednesday and every Sunday! And then on aol and during hang outs. Ahhh church friends. The worst of em. (This has been my personal experience, I don't hold the entire religion at fault)

  • StephenStpwine1 Stephen not Steven (@StephenStpwine1) reported

@softuch25 I think I’m the last person in America to still have ( though never used ) an AOL account. I’ll probably end up being among a handful still with cable

  • the_robert robert haag (@the_robert) reported

@wrestling_jazzy @bryanalvarez They can request it, but it's the network that makes those decisions. Back in the day Turner owned everything and could just do whatever he wanted... Until AOL... Let's not mention that.

  • marcilef Marcia Lefman (@marcilef) reported

@FascistTwatter I can’t help but feel AOL is disingenuous and blowing smoke to the people she was talking with.

  • ocnj3 ocnj (@ocnj3) reported

@LadyScorcher And they're the type still paying for an AOL email account. It's really criminal that these aren't in every classroom. I'm not even asking that anything is done with the information. Just start identifying the problem.
