    In 1996 AOL cost for dial up service was $41 a month for 19 hours of primitive internet. Who remembers the sound of the computer dialing the phone & you sit there crossing your fingers, hoping it will connect??

    @LoveRetroBTW Never winter nights on AOL. I played something else on prodigy but I don't think it was an MMO and I'm not counting any of the BBS MUDS. Those were more like solo games with some player interactions. 1/2 MMO.
