    @ArizonaK1m Elmo better hire someone fast so he can fix all these issues... Pretty soon this is going to be like AOL in the 90's!

  • rayl1975 Ray L (@rayl1975) reported

    @POTUS Rural Pennsylvania doesn’t have cell service and only dial up in many areas. Also how do you expect people, to afford hi speed internet? When none is available. I still have an AOL account.

  • jokang623 Johnny (@jokang623) reported

    @washedwiz We are not negative. We want to win! You can support an organization that failed for decades. NBA is not AOL.

  • ericpatat Ze🦇🔊 (@ericpatat) reported

    @csaint02 @TrustlessState I think one of the issues is AOL was so heavily invested with local dialup numbers/telco contracts they just couldn’t turn the ship fast enough

  • ICooperAuthor Isabel Cooper (@ICooperAuthor) reported

    It's basically down to people concerned about malware and your uncle who still thinks you're on AOL.

  • Crobama Darren Staley (@Crobama) reported

    @bendreyfuss I think, as I recall, the "idea" was that Road Runner would be the national broadband provider in the US, which you would need if you wanted AOL. AOL, in retrospect, should have developed their own broadband network.

  • outoforeos 🏳️‍🌈 outoforeos (@outoforeos) reported

    @LadyPhi @MoonKnightcore1 ...broken AOL disks?

  • bendreyfuss Ben Dreyfuss (@bendreyfuss) reported

    AOL wasn't beaten at their own game or overtaken by Compuserve or some ****. It just couldn't transition into an always online era of ethernet connections.
