@trekologer @nytopinion @karaswisher I still have Yahoo mail and that whole Verizon/AT&T/AOL/Yahoo thing screwed me all up! There were times I could access my email from Yahoo, times I could only connect through the AT&T .net page, sometimes some weird "AT&T Currently" thing...WTF man!! Leave s**t ALONE!

That's right, Adult Swim and the idea that Cartoon Network should be exclusively for kids are the most significant changes caused by the AOL era of WarnerMedia. Before then, Cartoon Network was for everybody, not just kids. That was evident from day one.

@kb5pgy @RobSchneider Eh, I don't know if you could say that with certainty. "Big media" has always been a thing. It just takes the form of social media now. It was AOL, CompuServe and Prodigy before them. Network television before that. National Newspapers before that. Everybody censors content.

@MattWalshBlog I remember getting the internet and using internet explorer. My grandma also had AOL and it was extremely slow. The internet was a weird thing back then. I also remember you cooking talk on the phone or be on the web at the same time. Simpler times.

for some reason it always catches twitch notif emails which isn't a dealbreaker (but IS annoying), and emails from my bank which is a bit more concerning, and I've had enough!!! I used to use aol and people laughed at me but aol never did this!!!

Dear @AOL as irony wins the love of a good Rick Roll, “never going to give you up, never going to let you down.” I will need AOL dial up service to win the next (good guy hacker from 1995) revolution using CRT monitors in 2021. Getting service now. (Let’s see)
