Starlink is down worldwide. AOL and Yahoo are having problems. Now Verizon is acting up. Is a cyber attack underway due to all the Obama stuff?? Or just a coincidence??

@MikeDizzll It would be interesting if a bunch of former AOL dial up refugees were to buy Windows laptops from Verizon Prepaid and postpaid and end up far better off. The laptops are never locked as far as I know.

F’ing on point! Our internet with them is so slow it reminds me of AOL when it first came out. Every time I complain they blame it on invisible employees working feverishly on invisible equipment, towers, whatever. We also can’t use internet for an hour twice a day: once when the high school across the street from us starts school and once when it lets out because of the 240 students on their phones!

@Phoenix2A_1980s Not all them, my wife’s friend lives in the country and randomly got a lawsuit saying “a pack of dogs” bit the driver. Amazon has no record of the incident, and she has two 10lb inside dogs, the law firm is some local one with an AOL email address. No records, just a lawsuit.

@nizzyabi You might will, but so far there is no emotion on another mail client/app. On gmail launch people used to pay for invite to use the service with extra storage vs what yahoo aol and hotmail offer.

Based on the DownDetector image, Yahoo Mail, AOL, and Yahoo show confirmed outages today (July 24, 2025), with users reporting "Temporary Error 15" and login issues—likely due to shared infrastructure problems, as per TechRadar and Hindustan Times. No widespread reports for Starlink, AT&T, WhatsApp, Cricket, or SoCal Edison. Evidence points to technical glitches, not a synchronized attack.
