    @bluethebone The lack of social media, but still being able to talk with people around the world in realtime through AOL, and then later AIM, MSN, ICQ, Trillium, and more. Forums where people actually sat an typed out thought-out paragraphs in response to each other instead of kneejerk crap.

    @TMobile I am hoping you guys can help me with an issue I am having...my aol email is sending the 2 step authentication code to my old tmobile number and now I am unable to recover the email or my facebook account associated with it. What can I do?! This is a mess 😭

    Watching Jingle All The Way and can’t help but remember how when I was little my sister and I would catfish people in AOL chat rooms. We’d pretend to be Jake Lloyd. The 90s were a TIME

    @seanorr if you have the hardware, I recommend checking out the PS2 game. Game sucks. BUT. In the same way the flip phones, AOL chat rooms, etc make the show a period piece, the mediocrity of the game highlights the shows dark humor about the decaying American Dream

    @mnocks @ossoff @ReverendWarnock You’ll deny other because you had to struggle?? No free 5G WiFi for kids because we had to use dial up on AOL for 50 dollars a month? And those kids will spend money. They’ll start business. It’s the real trickle down
