@ClaireGregoryAU never had an AOL email address, but otherwise it's a sweep. Sincerely, a relatively ancient 54.

@netflix Is there some reason MY Netflix reloads and reloads as if it’s 1995 AOL? Every other streaming service is fine, but no matter time of day, I end up giving up. Tonight I started with 3 different shows, none would broadcast, just the 9% to 70% to 85%, back to 7%. HELP!

@ChesWho @_VivLee As far as I can tell it never really went away. It seems to be treated as a casual after-school hangout place not unlike AOL chatrooms and stuff back in the day. Same ****, different medium.

If this sounds crazy to you, remember how recently it was weird to chat with random people on AOL (1995) or admit to meeting your bf/gf on the internet (2002) or have "close friends" you may never meet IRL (Twitter in 2010) or talk aloud to a piece of hardware (Alexa, 2014)...

@EmmaGrant_01 And it’s MySpace. I was on AOL and a few places like Cloud on My Tongue, and message boards, but never MySpace. I did have an AOL page, though.
