Thinking about being 12 and running a terrible website titled "Ewolk[sic]Jedi's Star Wars Page" and somehow getting it approved to be listed on the official AOL Keyword: Star Wars thing lol. I miss the 90s.

@camolNFT It’s true though. If someone gave me one, I’d flip instantly. Ugly pieces of **** a 12 year old could make. Nobody is going to care they were first 10 years from now, ask AOL.

@soymiIkmaid big same 😣 my parents caught me using random AOL chatrooms when I was 11 and got real mad, although they didn't actually ban me from anything just told me I could only talk to friends. Anyway I moved to Canada to live with a boy I met online so I guess my bad behavior won

@npann @XodiumRetro Many will never have a frame of reference when computers didn't exist, or the internet, or cell phones. Opening the first computer, connecting to AOL, the awful dial tone sound, and being online for the 1st time was a wild experience. What will be "that moment" for kids today?

  • StephKateStrohm Stephanie Kate Strohm (@StephKateStrohm) reported

If people are upset about Meilin drawing kissing pictures in her notebook in Turning Red then I have some extremely bad news about what my friends and I were doing in AOL chat rooms in middle school
