  • neumarke Greg Neumarke (@neumarke) reported

@notshenetworks I used to have a job where I did in-home tech support for seniors. The worst was people who were still paying for AOL, despite also having regular cable or DSL internet.

  • KarenDrives Openly Black Karen🖤 (@KarenDrives) reported

@NewJeffCT @myronjclifton @cbouzy I knew someone that had a box full of the free time disks AOL sent around she had collected and therefore never paid a dime for the service.

What's the polite way to tell your parents you never want to see them again? Snail-mail? AOL instant message?

  • superancom A better world is possible 🏴🚩 (@superancom) reported

@EffffBrandon @Mentoch We were early adopters. We had dial-up service to BBSs in the late 80s, then services like prodigy / AOL, then internet access by the time I was in late middle school / early HS.

  • _JeffreyShuter Jeffrey Shuter (@_JeffreyShuter) reported

@elonmusk Will probably be of a slow decay, like AOL. LOL.

  • seraph_999 Hector Santoyo (@seraph_999) reported

Some people in the world are really #******* dumb and #stupid @AOL

  • otherfinemess John Bowman (@otherfinemess) reported

The AOL App Password Generator isn't working. This seems to be a long running, known issue but the question is 'What @AOL is being done to sort it?'

  • PearlF Pearl Freier (@PearlF) reported

@eperlste @michael_gilman It's also possible that Twitter becomes like AOL which at one point many years ago was a dominant social network until they made a number of bad business decisions including who they sold it to. The decline happened over a number of years, I don't think it happened right away
