@Soaryn117 I don't know if you've heard of this 'deterrent' before, but if there's sunlight on that side of the house hang some old CDs around. My dad used to hang old AOL CDs from his fruit trees to scare off the birds.

@ronmarz @AdamBlackhat We're you in the marvel AOL chats around 99/2000? I can never remember if it was Ron Marz or Ben Raab who would pop in and just hang out.

@KirgenF @FlintlockENG 56k AOL is my earliest memory. This downgrade sure sucks, but I do at least have 950mbps down. Only 40mbps up though.

I wish kids these day could experience the AOL America online Era…if they knew how slow the internet was back then they would off themselves.

I get that I'm trying to do less computer and more Gardeners World but it would be nice if there was a single online garden shop that wasn't riddled with 1990s AOL UX vibes and broken payment implementations.

@AOL Your customer service is the absolute worst!! And how does my email just no longer exist!!! Very frustrating ordeal that I have been dealing with for 2 weeks now!!

  • AliasJoeG Player 2… Press Start (@AliasJoeG) reported

The system is so slow; It took me 4mins & 16 second to just CONFIRM that we don’t have an item. For those wondering how long it normally takes: less then 1 mins. It’s pretty much working on (as of right now) AOL dial up service.

Then there's apple. I think Mail on macOS is the best app I've ever used for mail. it supports most third party services (gmail, yahoo, aol, exchange) out of the box. Search works. It can handle folders with 100,000+ emails no problem.
