Thinking about how when I was a kid I'd always grab aol free trial disks from Walmart so I could play online. Never understood why they didn't work

@StacieMcTacie @twi_age I am! But we were also sorta poor growing up so we didn't really have a 'home' computer until we got an old Mac clone from dad's job and got AOL. So it was like an entire new world and I dove _hard_ into it. Lol.

@JayHadHope @JCorvinusVR Sounds like the argument a VP of product made that the internet would never catch on because AOL was so dominant and it only made sense to invest with them because the internet would never be able to penetrate their market share. It feels EXACTLY like that.
