@HatingHatred @evan_greer i found the AOL software to be stifling, and it dulled down most users into thinking that was all there was to their PC. i started out using various dial-up providers, and then cable, no onerous software filtering the whole internet/web.

@uppittynegress This is not from any gotdamn millennial. Millennials grew up unsupervised in aol chats, wtf is this nonsense?

  • G_Dub_Ya GordoSan (@G_Dub_Ya) reported

@rod_z @JezCorden It's not just cool, it's the future. Thinking it isn't is like thinking "the internet thing" will never take off, back in the 90s. I'm MUCH more concerned that nobody is as far along as FB/Meta. Kinda hoping they will be the future's AOL, but MSFT and Appl need to start trying.

@CaesarSalad99 @edgyshiba @monday_flowers Self-reported fist fight prowess is up dramatically since AOL launched in 1993. It's hard to understand how we have any crime problem at all, with all these Billy Jack types wondering around.

  • Coinosphere Luke Parker 🇸🇻 - #OZ (@Coinosphere) reported

@cornokun @btcKaz It'll be like AOL or Prodigy; just another intranet. They'll take the word "metaverse" down with them though when they go...
