@suhgasit3e So I did not get the duplicity of the discussion. Usually Soompi Forums is not that bad, Unless you have theories clashing(Like TKEM) and a character fighting (IONBOTO) or AOL (RY). But I find it fun. Lol.

@siyeonbora Oh man I didn't even think about social media. But I'm so glad it wasn't around when I was in school. We did enough damage with AOL 🙃 I had another point but I lost my train of thought lol

@Ateendriyo I have seen a lot of bad press for Arya samaj because of them twisting Vedas and don't they want to abolish moorti poojan. Apart from that other orgs you mentioned are doing a good jib especially ISHA and AOL they are very much respected in diaspora hindus.

This also means that if they allow content on their network from a user or other publisher that is defamatory, lewd, and false that they cannot be held liable for a civil suit. Fact-checking is convenience-based not fact-based. This was observed in Zeran vs. AOL (1997). 3/6

I’ve been hit with the weirdest wave of 90s nostalgia right now; I miss my RPG fam from those days. We were teenagers spread out across the country (literally) and spend nights playing games together in AOL chat rooms. I miss that so bad right now.
