    @horrorgeek I agree sites were terrible but when you're running AOL rates it's bound to be a reflection of how bad the Internet was rather than how bad the actual questions were. Proof of that lies with the times being a boon for horror magazines. So somebody was doing their job, right?

    @Postsemreh Fun fact, I once got around a virus that prevented getting the patch to fix by installing AOL 2.5 and logging in with dialup.

    @mehhsecurity No. Since the days of 2400 baud BBS, chatroom were **** talking one another.. then later when AOL and Comp-U-Serve (and prodigy?) came along, same ****. Nothing has changed in 25+ years, so I would recommend blocking or whatever and move on, if possible.
