  • ZaidaGrunes ZAIDA GRUNES (@ZaidaGrunes) reported

Anytime this preteen tries to take me down I remind her I've been on the internet for 20+ years AND was lied about on AOL's homepage about breastfeeding. Skin as thick as concrete now, sweet girl

  • MrsJWhitten Tracy Whitten (@MrsJWhitten) reported

Check out my Speedtest results! 11.9 Mbps down and 0.7 Mbps up. Help me understand @CenturyLink customers. Is this good? Bc seriously, @AOL loaded faster!😑

  • thelibertykicks Liberty Kicks (@thelibertykicks) reported

@Xi_Phos I don't know...I remember the wholesome quality of AOL/AIM. But maybe I was just naive, haha. The Internet sucks ***.

  • CHawksRun Chris Hawks (@CHawksRun) reported from King City, Oregon

@Lunarfaze44 @espn Ha ha. I’m a notoriously bad speller. I remember when I was young single using AOL and would occasionally chat with a single girl. They would invariably call me out as a liar that I couldn’t be a law student with my poor spelling. Funny

  • lipvenus kj 🏛 ʚɞ (@lipvenus) reported

i was putting in a customer’s email address at work and they were still using aol, we typically get a lot of older people that come in but wow 😭

  • grimy_crank Grimy Crank (@grimy_crank) reported

@mtaibbi I’ll forever hold this up as a prime example of the warm **** garbage writing and “analysis” over-abundantly available on contemporary **** platforms like substack. The same kind of drivel you could find on Blogspot or AOL forums is somehow shiny new and edgy on substack? Yawn.

  • catdevbrain cat brain | /dev/🐥 (@catdevbrain) reported

@webjedi Reminds me of the cesspool that was AOL hometown, it also ran on a sun cluster and had a machine or two dedicated to scanning content for known bad hashes, fortunately I didn't have deal with investigations that came out of those searches.

  • transfionacoyne ava (AOL/tsunxmi) (@transfionacoyne) reported

just gauging interest: if i were to press AOL music on CD-Rs, paper sleeves real handmade ****, would you buy one?

  • SapphyreBlues Marsha Trent (@SapphyreBlues) reported

@HollyJahangiri @AutoOverload The Nokia phones you could drop from a plane and still work. The dial up, and the massive amounts of hard floppies AOL sent via mail. And I cant relate to people who have never played The Oregon Trail and died of dysentery on the chonker state of the art Apple computer.

  • CryptoOccultist Occultist - Perma Bear & Sht Poster (@CryptoOccultist) reported

@TUnderground_ @staatindeweg solidity is kind of like the aol of blockchain. its tried to take on more functions yet is just becoming slower by te day and its fees are stupid even with proof of stake. there are now virtual machines that run solidity so there isnt much point for the token.
