@stockfighter2 @algohack If you don’t remember having to cover your loud as **** dial-up modem with pillows so your parents didn’t hear you logging on after bedtime to chat up your boo and your side-boo on AOL Instant Messenger in 5th grade, don’t tell me you know jack **** about trading securities.

@woke8yearold @orthonormalist Companies can coast on past accomplishments long after they cease being capable of accomplishing anything new. Most of the tech giants laid the foundation for their success a decade ago and ain't done **** since then. I mean, Yahoo is still a thing. Ditto AOL.

@FrankConniff @MST3K I took a typing class in high school. It triggered a severe problem with my hands and wrists. I can barely write manually now, and prefer to type. The typing class taught me nothing. I learned from AIM, AOL chat rooms and online gaming.

@moseskagan Could be a good lead gen service just send the @yahoo @aol etc. emails to the realestate folks to talk to. Have founders opt in, auto detect those and sends them an email “sorry your not the right audience for this service but here are some people that may be able to help you”

@FaisalFarooqui @blackhatwizardd AOL was infamous back in the day. Can't imagine people went back after the cancel experience. Netflix is so easy to cancel I've been on and off several times.
