    @vitaliyk @GoChaela When I quit my job in AOL tech support my manager tried to get me to stay by explaining how much I stood to lose by not sticking around to get my stock options. This was in Autumn 1999.

    @Fiskantes Crypto likely not diff than dotcoms. After dotcom crash many believed it proved brick and mortar retailers would win e-commerce. Network effects and M&A cash were supposed to give AOL and Yahoo an unbeatable moat.

    @aolmail @MartinSLewis @thismorning can anyone help please. My husband has passed away AOL won’t reset his password for me because they cannot verify my account even though I have been with them for over 20 years. I need to inform his friends abroad of his passing. So stressful

    @generationwhy_y but there again lays another fork in the timeline because if AOL-Turner hadn't of cancelled the WCW timeslots, Bischoff would have likely been successful in his takeover and who ******** knows what the landscape would be like today. 7/7

    It's crazy because many of us started here nearly 20 years ago in AOL 3.0 or some **** like "Yeah! I'm in the matrix, this is my life now!" Now we in web3 living that sci-fi life like it's no big deal.

    @AlexMcDaniel I'm not a parent so I've never dealt with it. My parents since email came out have had a joint AOL. Dad until maybe 5 years ago never had a reason to use email. While he always made our events, friends events he was hardly at due to work so mom was the one to schedule those

    @kerpen I seem to remember everybody in 1993 getting an AOL CD-Rom in the mail to help them get online! Those CDs were so ubiquitous ina few years you could cover your walls with them.

    @RalphusSecurity hah well I do still have my Kent email from my days there in 2006 - 2008 but. someone who was one of the main executives at the #RockHall who we had to treat like a god still having an AOL email is still hilarious to me 😜
