It’s 2023 and I don’t know how to use Twitter. I went straight from AOL IM to texting on my Nokia phone to writing stupid stuff on people’s FB walls starting in 2007.

@18slashes Literally the only beef my hip-hop project ever had was because of diss tracks posted on there. It was somehow worse than AOL & the worst of message boards combined. But since it wasn't as horrid as Facebook & Twitter, I guess they think it was some halcyon era of social media.

@RealChrisSays Gee...I guess my old CompuServe address doesn't work...and I gave up AOL. I'm down to a couple of Yahoo and Gmail addresses...the oldest is probably 20+ years old.

@AOLSupportHelp AOL Customer Support assisted resolving this issue; and it is appreciated! Issue was due to my moving the acct; I then had to recreate password per AOL two-step verification, I had done years ago, (& forgotten), as in Ways to securely access AOL Mail

@charles_gaba I still have my original AOL account, never saw any reason to change. I had a boatload of CD’s I got rid of when I moved a few years ago. Sadly I did not know they had become collectibles until after I threw them away.

Google as it sits now will look like AOL did in 2000...outdated, slow, and irrelevant. Google is not going to be the next AOL, BUT many of similar in other industries will not be so lucky.
