  @AOL We don’t care, @AOL. Nobody with a functioning brain and a Spotify playlist cares. The world collectively decided years ago that Michael Jackson is untouchable, the allegations were a clown show, and you sad, jobless click-farm goblins are still out here recycling the same dusty script like it’s 2005 and people still trust you. Newsflash: they don’t. The King left the building, left the ranch, left the haters in the dirt, and his legacy is doing victory laps while you beg for engagement with “shocking” headlines that wouldn’t shock a houseplant. Touch some grass. Stream some Thriller. Or better yet, get a real job instead of farming MJ drama for pennies. The people have spoken: MJ forever, your pathetic “gotcha” content never. Stay irrelevant. 🖕

  Here's what happens next now that Warner Bros and Paramount are one company. In 6 months: Max and paramount + merge into a single platform. Subscribers get one app. Thousnads of employees get layoffs. The combined $57 billion debt starts driving every content decision. In 12 months: CNN gets sold or spun off. It has been on the table for years. The new company cannot afford to carry a struggling news network alongside a streaming war. In 2 years: The merged studio approaches Apple, Amazon, or a sovereign wealth fund for a capital injection. $57 billion in debt with streaming losses doesn't sustain itself. In 5 years: This merger either saves Hollywood's legacy studios or becomes the AOL Time Warner of the 2020s. There is no middle outcome.

  This makes me really sad because AX used to kick complete *** I loved it so much. I started going when I was in my mid-teens, one time I hung out with a bunch of the cast of 03 FMA because of an AOL fan chat they'd come and groupwatch the new episodes with us in, Mike McFarland bought us lunch because my friend was rude and thought we weren't paying....

  NETSCAPE was like AOL, Browser type systems - that all changed in 2000. Using your Phone line was fun - 20 minuet downloads for a Bitmap / Jpeg picture. No one today could "put up" with how slow things used to be. Websites were made with Wordpress and were limited to say the least.

  @Shadow87Claw 19. Only never had an AOL address. Hotmail is my oldest. Technically 18. My parents & childhood friend had waterbeds, not me. Never wanted one. Hurts my back & I felt like drowning.

  @RetroTechDreams Would play the **** out turret defense custom games in this with AOL dial up internet. Then I'd end up disconnecting from games due to my sisters unplugging the internet to use the phoneline to call up boys. Good times.

  @muheediva01 Hmm, a lot of people seem to think Wi-Fi=internet for some reason. There was no wireless internet. It was landline POTS at your house and maybe if you were lucky you had access to a business or school that could afford to lease a T1. In home broadband wasn't a thing yet, it was super expensive, and the internet was often gated through online service providers like AOL, and the original OSP's like Prodigy and CompuServe were still around. This is before even napster, so p2p music downloads weren't really happening yet either. You could play Doom, Wolfenstein 3D, minesweeper or Tetris on your PC. If you had Prodigy you could play MadMaze. The original Civilization and Sid Meier's Pirates! were out then as well. Most days during the summer I would go out and try and get a pickup basketball or baseball game going. If that failed I'd read a book or build **** with legos. After dinner if I wasn't in trouble and had done my chores I could play videogames. I had two sisters I had to share PC and internet time with. It wasn't super common to have a TV in your bedroom, and I didn't. So if you wanted to watch a show or a movie you had to gain consensus.

  @kermankohli @Banana3Stocks For me it was. And I owned some great sticks in my past. I bought AOL in late 90s. AAPL in 2010. NVDA in 2017. And TSLA in 2019. Micron was by far the easiest in terms of conviction! I have never been so convicted in a stock as I was with Micron. It didn’t make sense to me that it wasn’t trading so much higher.
