@aliciakennedy So I used to hang out in AOL teen forums 2000-ish and there were a lot of NY girls on there and this term got thrown around wildly and as a Japanese person from the suburbs I was so genuinely confused by it. Not sure at what point I figured it out. 🙃

@mims_words Oh, that sucks. One good thing about having an AoL email (yes, I know) is that they have pretty good anti-spam tech. Of course, it means I have a huge spam thing to empty, but it's a quick scroll then one button to push. I check it almost every time I look at email (ev. 2-3 days)

@AOLSupportHelp is aol down in the UK? My friend can’t log into her emails on the app or website and hasn’t received any emails since the 6th of July. Thanks

@thewarontesla If you read the article it seems to say AOL as first o consolidate or recognize vision of how industry was changing. He clearly says he doesn’t expect it to turn out the way AOL did. This is just bad journalism / gotcha headline stuff. @CNBC is not ethical.

@JDVance1 @bkavoussi @SohrabAhmari So stop trying to be a "fake hillbilly" trying to replicate & promote insular stereotypes about the stare being full of people who never get out to know anything else. You're just insulting those of us who grew up & made lives here without the privilege of PayPal & AOL financiers

  • DanCity368 Danny Skorupa (@DanCity368) reported

Harry Maguire never seen him take a penno. Leader of men. If I was him I’d wanna stick the nut on Aol’ big nose Gareth... Proper let down

@SoundEis @SaltyAyyycob Technically bad booking, too much creative control and the Time Warner/AOL deal was the reason for its death. WCW being must watch for 83 weeks straight was from the formation of the NWO and so many big names jumping ship. AEW could mimick that success with a couple huge names.

  • superoza1941 superozza (@superoza1941) reported

@AOL @greta Stop interfering in Haiti’s affairs. They haven’t asked for our help.

  • MunksterMan2 debuggin’ dan (@MunksterMan2) reported

"Sent from the all new AOL app for Android" ...so I see you've made two bad choices!

  • HelloMiakoda Miakoda (@HelloMiakoda) reported

After being down for hours, it came back up. 20 minutes later, @Comcast, or should I call it Crapcast, is down again. I remember the days of dial up. Slow, but even Earthlink and @Aol were much much much more reliable than Crapcast.
