@tonyposnanski AOL messenger when GenX were kids?! Don’t think so! I was born 1976 which makes me a young GenX AOL messenger was launched in 1997. I didn’t really get online until I was 22 and never even saw the internet as a teen.

@AOLSupportHelp please help. I thought I’d been hacked so changed my email password. I’ve basically had 2000+ spam emails (5 per minute) saying I’ve signed up to things. I’m still getting them now. Please help

@tonyposnanski Born in ‘61 (graduated high school ‘79) so on the cusp but I sure don’t remember AOL, cable (we had rabbit ears) Blockbuster (because video wasn’t) and the only video game I remember was Pong. And we ran like hell when the ice cream man rang those bells, no recorded crap then.

@tonyposnanski Ummmm…sorry, didn’t have those things. Never had cable, phones, video games, AOL Messenger, or Blockbuster until I was in my 20s. Of course, I’m an early X-er, so there’s that.

@tonyposnanski I didn’t have AOL messenger. When I graduated from college in June of 1992 I’d never heard the word internet, never mind used it.

Twitter should really make this a user-friendly platform. It reads like an AOL chat room. I have had my Twitter for a short period of time and have had 4 different BOT accounts to delete. Too bad @elonmusk could not get in here and clean it up....could have been GREAT!

@RealLyndaCarter I'm aware I was probably catfished a long time ago, but I wanted to confirm: you never had an AOL account back in the day, right?
