    I didn't have AOL at my house when I was a kid, but it had AT&T WorldNet instead. It had the most jarring startup sequence. Which DSL service did you have? 💻

    The day I was handed a burnt copy of windows 95 was a day I'll never forget. No more sluming through people's mailboxes for that free AOL trial no sir!. I was a king.

    @girdley Prodigy dial-up service provider. It eventually surpassed Compuserve before all those AOL cds were inserted in every Sunday paper.

    I miss the days where I could enjoy the internet without people constantly trying to sell me something. Idc of it was slow af & I had to use AOL dial up 😭
