@Section_230 @SergioVengeance Fail. "Section 230, however, plainly immunizes computer service providers like AOL from liability for information that originates with third parties." Zoran determined it was defamatory & demanded AOL apologize for platforming it. Not the same as de-platforming legal content.

I mean @Twitter has sucked for awhile now so just watching its slow descent joining AOL and MySpace into the internet junkyard.

@KatBaxAD1 Have you never heard the AOL dial up tone? Like if the phone and internet are busy?

  • Kiyoshi_Seaman Kiyoshi Mitarai (@Kiyoshi_Seaman) reported

I had a computer 20 years ago, but it was a Dell computer and it was running Windows XP. I spent time back then reading anime fan fictions, but I will never talk about the entire story behind that. I used AOL dial-up in 2003.

@girlwithatail Ughhhhhhhh! That sucks and is so frustrating. I *wonder* if having your gmail go through an Apple Mail App will somehow change it, but I feel like it's always going to be bad cause it's through the Google servers. 👎 If this is a long con to get us back to AOL, so be it

  • gsekse Glenn Sekse (@gsekse) reported

@ask_aubry Sigh... If you type something to the internet, it never dies, it will become public. If everyone would remember this, maybe people would be nicer. I stand by my posts, all the way back to AOL, though my drunk texts are not my favorites.

  • Bolt71D d.bolt71 (@Bolt71D) reported

@matthewdmarsden I had to be one of the first to sign up for an AOL email. When you can use your first name in an email without any other special numbers or characters, you tend to hang on to it.

  • ChristianUnholy UnHoly Christian (@ChristianUnholy) reported

@Stephen19718352 It is crap. I have never received more junk and filth mail that the software won't let me redirect. Makes AOL look ahead of the field.
