    @StopAndDecrypt No because AOL sucks.

  • Hanakookie1 34 Hanakookie🇸🇻 (@Hanakookie1) reported

    @derekmross @Just_Reboot AOL used the OSX network. Netscape used ISX. Neither were using TCP/IP. The only ones for that were free. That’s because it was an open network.

    @ozbanks1 To be fair, AOL 5.0 was REALLY bad. 😬

  • y070dd yolodd (@y070dd) reported

    Seeing @iamcardib tweeting about $btc the AOL effect is here and I feel like an idiot for hodl'ing this pos. Going down before it goes up see you after the shakeout in 2022.

  • MoonlightKn Tori (@MoonlightKn) reported

    @jimathers Add 4 no-slip pads onto the bottem and make it a drink coaster. Used to do it all the time when AOL still send their crap to Canada. Always good for a chuckle with the guys when they came over for a couple beers.

  • adamnash Adam Nash (@adamnash) reported

    @justindross … not quite that simple. Gmail was an entrant way after the market was largely locked by AOL, Yahoo, and Hotmail (Microsoft). Google could enter b/c they funded it from core and they innovated on rich web UI as broadband grew. The problem really was business model…

  • ByronKilpin Byron Kilpin (@ByronKilpin) reported

    @AOL I can't open sent emails. Please help.

  • detectingharm Rafe McGregor (@detectingharm) reported

    “Solving the Final Problem” was submitted so long ago that I was still using an AOL address (8 years?) and accepted this autumn. Sadly, not an essay about the links between #ConanDoyle and #genocide, which I leave for someone else.

  • Loafyh loafy (@Loafyh) reported

    @benedictevans Then let the gen-xer’s have the real **** already. I got an AOL login for proof. The boomers can suck it because they couldn’t even figure out how to use a mouse until 99.

    @wingsvaporeon @zoophobes Saw your answer and I have to say I was already aware of porn, but social media didn‘t really exist (aside from AOL Chatrooms maybe). So the worst I saw was maybe 1 (!!!) or two suggestive pictures when searching for Bugs Bunny or Sailor Moon on Google.
