@salamisanwhich @AOL @PressSec They never had it affect them. My neighborhood was looted twice and boarded up for months. It's why I left. Try going to a boarded up store that has nothing to sell because it's all been stolen. Or you can't get your prescriptions because they were stolen.🤔🤔

@eevee It doesn't matter. A top-down approach to something like the internet or metaverse won't work. What's the legacy from AOL, CompuServe, Prodigy, etc? The gif format. We'll end up with an organically grown metaverse made by people after the dust settles.

@CryptoAmb I only feel pity for the #ethereum community. They worked so hard on the AOL of #Defi. People tried to warn them so many times over and over again. But they were too stubborn and further ruined their network with #eth 2.0

@STIKIDIKIJ @georgehahn @janemarielynch I meant in so far as they tried to become a partitioned section of the internet that nobody ever has to leave. And, they became cheesy AF. You are correct though that AOL never even got close to FB's algorythmic confirmation-bias dopamine-rewarding feedback-loops.
