@azeem It was the dawn of the perpetual September. AOL were distributing discs to the public with abandon. The web was a concept in feasibility testing, and Internet life would never be the same again...

@marsybun I've always loved writing but it did suck. The same moment I logged on to AOL in 2000, the same time I signed up for my first blog, she didnt know how to use the computer so she couldnt read my **** anymore!

Fun facts about dial up internet: 1. 3% of Americans still use dial up, provided by AOL. 2. It's so slow that it can't download modern viruses. So you can throw out your antiviral software. But you won't be able to do much else either. 3. It's cheap, like $10 a month.

Eric doesnt seem to be the type to call you petnames like 'baby' and ****. If anything, calling you by the shortened version of your AOL handle seems the most affectionate to him

  • sarcasmfont80 Princess Consuela Bananahammock (@sarcasmfont80) reported

@azeem Missed a date calling because I was on AOL and he kept getting a busy signal.

  • balmayne_ Balmore (@balmayne_) reported

@abbydarkstar See I never understood this line of thinking. Most of nerds I know are female. My high school Anime Club, I was the only guy. The local comic shop and AOL message boards about X-men, mostly women. The vast majority of the WoW guilds I've been in primarily ladies. Nerds just are.
