If I was around Elon Musk I would probably start whining like AOL. He does a lot and has made a difference for the better of twitter but some things he could easily fix, he just won't doooo iiiitttt.

@anothercohen Technically this is NOT the Internet but AOL's closed network. You couldn't get this through other ISPs.

@valbianco AOL had chat rooms. My BFF & I never managed to get into questionable ones, but a mere search for them revealed our AOL IDs. One night we “traveled” to a *********** chat room where, out of the blue, an apparent devotee asked each of us if we liked smelly feet, too! Total yuck!

At some point, where you hang your social media hat is going to become a class thing. So, if you don’t want to be one of those people still using AOL for email, you need to start thinking about moving to the Fediverse.

If you know what the letters ASL mean, you probably spent way too much time in online chat rooms in the late 90's, and probably had AOL as your internet service provider .....

@aolmail I know having an AOL email address is nuts (I've had it since the mid-'90s though, and I have many others) ... but, re: your recent email upgrade: Why do deleted emails keep reappearing in my inbox? WTF is up with that?!

@Thomas87520559 I average about 140-150 WPM, so if I have stuff already planned out I can easily surpass that number by double, if not triple. But typically I'm lazy and slow down if I am just going in blind. All those years of Speed Simming on AOL in RP really pays off in regards to my typing.
