    @ArkadyKoshka I was still logging in to AOL until they switched back to making it a paid service. I'll be here until it dies too, most likely. If we meet again, awesome. If not, I will miss Sunshine.

    I always loved the Aaron Carter Lizzie McGuire episode for obvious reasons but I’ll never forget it because I got in trouble on Kids AOL for trying to describe his and Lizzie’s kiss to someone who hadn’t seen the episode. I was grounded from the internet for like a month 😭

    @SgtHoov PimpMacDaddy69 was mine! Thought I was so cool getting that one. Until someone reported the name, the account got banned. My dad called AOL to find out what the problem was, they told him it was a vulgar screen name. Him being an immigrant, heard the ****. Oh man he was so mad.

    @djrothkopf There has been an odd stability to the internet lately which is ahistorical. MySpace, Geocities, AOL, Netscape all were great powerhouses. So it's not weird that Twitter declines and a new power fills the void. Or Musk cuts his losses and a Google, Microsoft, or Amazon buys it.

    @SnowWrite @oneunderscore__ I think they’re going to have a problem w/the separate serve things. It’s really confusing, the app is glitchy (like you follow, it unfollows, you have to follow again), the servers seem to be really slow sometimes (feels like AOL waiting), etc. They need to staff up.
