@DurinnM Waste of time and effort to salvage AOL 2.0. Best to build new networks, and this time with your identity and relationships completely decoupled from the service. As for work, aim for a society where no one's livelihood depends on the whims of progtards.
@SouthwestAir The on board WiFi for flight 1496 is like a visit from the 90’s. I swear I heard dial tone when I connected. I thought the AOL 56k connection window was going to pop up. Y’all are on my bad side. Cancelled my original flight and now this $8 bad decision.

In the mid-late 90's when my dad finally caved and took someone's hand-me-down 486 with a hard drive over 8 MB, we would use old AOL floppies jury-rigged to be writable to do system backups. It was my job to sit at the computer reading a book and switch floppies out.
