@blkwolf999 @WrestleCringe Doesn't help that Time Warner and AOL didn't like wrestling or want it on their networks. It was a lose-lose situation WWE treats like a "we won" thing.

@MayaKingPA @nikicaga They're mad because she (supposedly) turned in members of a group that kept doing drops with the login info of tens of thousands of people's accounts on various websites like AOL or Bethesda or IBM PER DROP, I think that thinking that is worse than being a ****** is weird

@BittrScrptReadr Fan hobby horses were just generally more entertaining and unique on the smaller-scale '90s internet, I think. I still think about the guy on the AOL Trek boards who would argue up and down that DS9 was terrible and there was only one way to fix it: resurrect Sisko's dead wife.

@IvoryHecker Section 230 was enacted during the era of AOL, Prodigy, and CompuServe. It was never intended to be abused on a massive scale like it has been. Basically, media services need to decide if they are a platform or a publisher. They really shouldn’t be both.
